e are now coming close to the end of the season, the first for East Dulwich.
As the old addage goes - "It's been emotional boys!!". There have been plenty of ups & downs along the way, but we've made it.
Now we can look forward to a better & more stable year next season.
After some debate about the kick off time, the game started, with both sides looking lively. East Dulwich drew first blood when a defensive lapse left the ball running free to Gary White. Horse & Groom then went 2-1 up, goals by Bell & Noble, befor Dulwich got into gear, and the lead with a brace by Remy Bandandala. The second half was less eventful, although Horse equalised to make it 3-3.
The clocks went forward, and some of the players forgot!! Dulwich started with a makeshift defence and it soon showed with fishblood taking a 2 goal lead. The late arrival of Gary Poole changed the game though, and despite constant pressure on the home sides goal in the 2nd half, Dulwich could only manage a draw with 2 goals from Remy Bandandala.

A very slow and disapointing start to the game allowed Forresters to go into the break with a 3 goal lead. The second half wasn't much better, the Dulwich defence not learning thier lessons from the first half, and allowing the opposing forward to run through. All in all it was a day best forgotton.
Dulwich were still asleep when half time came round 3-0 to Surrey Valley, a very slow and disappointing start yet again. Adam Lomax was dropped back into the midfield for the second half, and some stability was gained. Dulwich scored thier consolation when Poole netted a sweet Brindle cross.
A well fought out game was just edged by AFC, even though Steve Minchin scored a 45 yarder that could be goal of the season.
Dulwich started lively, going 2 goals up through White & Lomax, but then managed to commit suicide by letting Forresters back in the game. At the end, forresters deserved the 3 points simply because they battled & never gave up.
