Ian is just closing his first season, and has greatly improved throughout. Still got a lot to learn, but has age on his side. Jamie has given us one of the laughs of the season, by not knowing the name of the club for about 6 weeks after joining, kept calling us "Warriors" or something. Steve joined us late in the season, and then managed to suffer a knee injury just when we had sorted out our right back problem. We hope to see a lot more of Steve next season. A very quiet player, who will punish a defence if given the space with his sweet left foot crosses. Another player with an excellent attitude. Not the tallest of players, but battles and has electrifing pace. Joined us late, then managed to get a bad facial injury that kept him out for most of the season. Looking forward to seeing more of Gavin Next year. |
Martin is a competent defender whether at right back or centre. Missed a lot of this season due to baby sitting problems. Get well soon Mrs Clover!!! Versatile, can play anywhere across the back four. Darren has been unlucky with injury this season, but were looking forward to a full season next year. If only every player had the attitude of our very own R-Kelly lookalike. Started the season in midfield, but moved to defence to help out the crisis. Dave is reliable & dependable, always giving 100%. Managed to get a game in every position except goal this season. Remy joined us at Xmas, and took a while to settle in. Superb pace & fitness, scored 4 goals in 2 games recently. A very similar player to Ross, in fact so similar sometimes we can't even tell the difference form a distance. Showed a lot of promise at the start of the season, then drifted into obscurity. Came back with a bang Vs Ipcress wuth all 5 goals in a 5-2 win. Main contender for Golden Boot. Another one who joined us late, but showed a lot of promise. Looking forward to seeing a lot more of Adam next season, and plenty of goals to challenge Gary White. |
